Three fishing affiliates of Icelandic seafood giant Samherji are expected to be indicted in Namibia as part of an ongoing trial in the long-running "Fishrot" scandal.

The indictments stem from allegations leveled by former manager Johannes Stefansson, who claimed that during his time running the company's Namibian operations, Samherji was involved in efforts to bribe officials in exchange for quota to harvest fisheries resources.
