Growth in Ecuadorian shrimp exports in 2021 will hinge on the success of COVID-19 vaccination programs in key markets, according to producers trade body the National Chamber of Aquaculture (CNA).

"We will see closed hotels and restaurants operating with much fewer consumers not allowing a reactivation of demand. Very possibly the first half of 2021 will resemble what we lived through in the second half of 2020," Jose Antonio Camposano, president of shrimp producers trade body the National Chamber of Aquaculture told IntraFish.
