The knock-on effects from Brexit-related disruption and delays costing the Scottish seafood industry more than £1 million (€1.1 million/$1.4 million) a day have left processors in the northern French city of Boulogne-sur-Mer, Europe's largest seafood processing hub, with large gaps in supply.

Much of the seafood shipped from Scotland heads for Boulogne's Capecure district before being distributed across France and other European destinations.
