Mowi, the world's largest salmon farmer, posted record-high third-quarter financial results for its Consumer Products division thanks to the coronavirus-related shift in demand.

"This was impressive and demonstrates yet again the importance of Mowi’s downstream strategy," the company said in its report.

Earnings before interest and tax (EBIT) for the division hit €21.2 million ($24.7 million), a 42 percent increase year-on-year.
