The purchasing power of US citizens will impact demand for Norwegian seafood if Democrat Joe Biden is elected the next president of the United States, said Norwegian-American Terje Korsnes, who is CEO and president of Nordic Group.
Korsnes is from Alta but has lived and worked in the seafood industry in Boston since 1977.
"For Norwegian seafood in the United States, it becomes more important that people here have purchasing power than what happens in terms of trade policy after the election," Korsnes told sister publication Fiskeribladet.
