Russian Fishery Company (RFC), one of the world's largest whitefish producers, continued its strategy of producing more from its raw material through increases in its value-added production despite stagnant raw material supplies.

While the company's total catch rose just 6 metric tons to 255,000, with pollock catches rising five percent to 231,000 metric tons, its volumes of pollock fillets and minced meat grew 16 percent through September.
