You could be forgiven for thinking consumers might shift their priorities around while enduring a global health pandemic and facing rocketing unemployment rates, but sustainability continues to be right at the top of consumers' concerns, according to the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC).

“There were concerns the pandemic would obliterate sustainable seafood from the public agenda, with its impact on unemployment and consumer purchasing power,” Richard Stobart, head of marketing at the MSC, told IntraFish. “But, in fact, it remains relevant and everything suggests people’s awareness of sustainability is actually heightening.”
