A new farmed cod hatchery, Arctic Cod, the work of Norway-based seafood companies Ecomarin and Green Farming, will supply of juvenile fish to Norway's newly resurrected cod farming sector.

Producers Norcod, Klo Holding and Statt Torsk have partnered with the hatchery, signing agreements for the delivery of juvenile cod totaling NOK 300 million (€27.6 million/$32.4 million).

Arctic Cod currently consists of several land-based tanks for the production of cod juveniles, connected with another facility, where land-based production of salmon and cleaner fish occurs.
