Scanbio Marine Group, the Norwegian fish oil and feed producer owned by US private equity group Paine Schwartz Partners, is having a record year so far, and is completely untouched by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

After appointing a new CEO in January, the group -- which retrieves dead farmed fish, waste and trimmings from Norway's salmon, whitefish and pelagic industries and processes it into animal feed ingredients, amongst other things -- has undergone a reshuffle that seems to be paying off, with strong results in the first half of 2020, Kamel El Khaloui, CEO of Scanbio Marine Group, told IntraFish.
