A new investment firm backed by an experienced team of seafood industry advisors is hoping to attract institutional investors to the aquaculture industry through its investment vehicle.
Launched officially in January, San Diego-based Varuna Capital is looking to connect institutional capital focused on weighty issues such as food security and other sustainable development goals (SDGs) set out by the United Nations with aquaculture ventures designed to address such issues.
