While North American meat producers have been battered by coronavirus-related supply chain challenges, salmon farmer Grieg Seafood in British Columbia has managed to bring its salmon to the US market without logistical hiccups or a fall off in demand.

"Our experience hasn’t been different than most aquaculture producers in North America," Rocky Boschman, managing director of Grieg Seafood BC, told IntraFish.

"There was a really abrupt interruption with restaurant foodservices, meaning half of our market, it disappeared overnight."
