Russia may lift restrictions on shipments of salmon from four Chilean producers' plants in the coming days, IntraFish has learned.
"We are not going to say which ones until Russia confirms it," a spokesperson for Chile's National Fisheries and Aquaculture Service (Sernapesca) told IntraFish.
Chilean officials put the ban high on its diplomatic agenda.
Alicia Gallardo, head of Sernapesca met with Sergei Dankvert, the director of Russia's Federal Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance Service (Rosselkhoznadzor), in Moscow on Thursday.
