Russian officials are in Chile to inspect salmon processing plants as part of a visit lasting nearly two weeks after temporary import restrictions were placed on Chilean salmon producers at the end of October.
The visit will last until November 21, and affects plants in the regions of Magallanes, Aysén, Los Lagos and Biobio.
