Some salmon companies are out of harm's way and back in business as Dorian changes course, downgrades

Johan Andreassen, CEO of publicly listed, land-based salmon farmer Atlantic Sapphire, told IntraFish Tuesday the company's Miami Bluehouse is out of harm's way, as Dorian gets ready to depart from the Bahamas and head northwest to Florida's Atlantic coast and also along parts of Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina and possible southeast Virginia this week.

The massive construction site has seen no damage and doesn't expect to see any further impacts from the storm, he told IntraFish.

Andreassen's relief came from Dorian switching course over the weekend, and stalling over the Bahamas, instead of making the massive landfall that was predicted on Labor Day.
