Attorneys for embattled former Bumble Bee CEO Chris Lischewski are requesting more than a dozen points of testimony be excluded from a criminal trial regarding his involvement in price-fixing tuna on the US market -- information they say would unfairly portray the executive and his role in the case.

Lischewski, who stepped down as CEO of Bumble Bee in 2018, has been accused by the US Department of Justice (DOJ) of playing a key role in what they allege was a wide-ranging price-fixing scheme between Bumble Bee, Dongwon-owned Starkist and Thai Union-owned Chicken of the Sea International (COSI).
