The head of European seafood processing organization AIPCE-CEP on Monday told IntraFish that the escalating trade fight between the United States and the European Union puts the seafood sector in a "wait and see" mode.
"Trade wars are never good for anyone, we are certainly not looking for this, and we did not start this, but of course, when these things start to escalate there is always going to be retaliation," AIPCE's Guus Pastoor told IntraFish Monday on the sidelines of the European Tuna Conference.
