Nutreco-owned Skretting launched a new tilapia starter diet product for the Egyptian market for the first-feeding fry stage that will now also be sold in Kenya, Uganda, Cote d'Ivoire and Mali.

The Nutra for tilapia is developed to improve performance of fish hatcheries in Africa and increasing fish survival rates.

In addition, Skretting introduced a functional diet to strengthen the fish immune system supporting the defenses of the fish to optimize the balance between the fish and the environment and survive challenging situations.
