Marine Harvest will add a new line to its facility in Ulvoya, Norway -- the world's largest salmon processing plant by volume.
Marine Harvest Ulvan contracted Marel on the installation, moving from two older lines to a new fillet line.
The new line will allow the company to use salmon from a range of different sizes on a single line, reducing its staffing needs and improving its yield, project manager Kolbojrn Jektvik said of the new line.
