Fishfinger sandwiches in front of an episode of Grange Hill.

My Dad drowning battered fish and chips in malt vinegar in front of Saturday afternoon football.

My Nan “splashing out” on the miracle of pre-prepared fish in parsley sauce because she’d won at the bingo.

These are all pretty staple memories from a 1980s childhood in the UK. And they were all memories I took completely for granted until I began working at what was then known as Seafood International (now IntraFish Magazine).
