Longtime IntraFish Media Publisher Pål Korneliussen will be stepping down from his role later this year, he announced Tuesday.
Korneliussen first joined IntraFish 18 years ago, and has progressed through a range of roles at the company, including managing director.
In his current role, Korneliussen oversees all editorial and commercial aspects of the global group, which includes IntraFish.com, IntraFish.no, Fiskeribladet, IntraFish Events and various other business units across the company.
"IntraFish and Fiskeribladet have been a huge part of my life for many years and I have great memories, great colleagues and lots of friends here," Korneliussen said in a memo to staffers. "I’ve had an exciting journey helping to grow, globalize and digitalize IntraFish."
Korneliussen oversaw a period of rapid expansion for the group over the past two decades.
IntraFish Media is the world's largest seafood news and information provider.
