Some seafood companies' valuation increased during 2022, despite a hefty 19 percent fall on the seafood index at the Oslo Exchange.

The Norwegian government's aquaculture tax proposal led to a sharp fall of seafood shares, and out of IntraFish 29 listed companies, only five ended the year with a stock market gain.

By comparison, the main index on the Oslo exchange ended at roughly at zero, partly helped by high oil and gas prices.
