Which US retailers do Americans trust most when buying fresh seafood?
According to a survey of 10,082 US shoppers by market research firm BrandSpark, Texas-based supermarket chain HEB is the most trusted retailer of fresh seafood.
Rounding out the top five, in order, are Florida-based Publix, New York-based Wegmans, Kroger, and Price Chopper.
Surprisingly perhaps, Amazon-owned Whole Foods Markets, which has long been associated with fresh, sustainable seafood, came in at No. 9 on the list. The chain did top the list in the survey's most trusted Natural & Organic Grocery store category.
Retail behemoth Walmart was the No. 1 most trusted chain among conventional format grocery stores, according to the survey.
