It has been a busy year for Einar Gustafsson. In February, US pollock giant American Seafoods announced that it had chosen Gustafsson to be its new CEO, following the departure of Mikel Durham.
Gustafsson's arrival came amid a major dispute with the US Customs agency over how the Seattle-based company transported its product to customers on the US East Coast. The company ultimately altered its transportation routes and, for now, has avoided paying steep fines, although the case is ongoing.
