Ivan Vindheim, the CEO of Mowi, the world's largest salmon farming company, said Wednesday that a Norwegian government proposal to place a 40 percent tax on the sector would inflict needless pain on the country.
“There is no doubt this will place major limitations on the future development of the Norwegian aquaculture industry,” Vindheim told IntraFish.
