The 26th China Fisheries & Seafood Expo will be postponed two weeks following the recent announcement of a ban on mass gatherings in Qingdao.

The ban, implemented on the back of China's COVID-19 zero tolerance measures, has been put in effect from Sept. 10 to Oct. 31.

The new dates for the show are Nov. 9-11, two weeks later than originally advertized.

“It is widely anticipated that China’s current quarantine and travel policies will change at the end of October,” said Peter Redmayne, president of Sea Fare Expositions, the show’s overseas organizer.
