Norwegian farmed salmon prices have been on a stunning run in the first half of 2022 thanks to lower supply, logistics disruptions and strong demand.
But the second half of the summer has seen a sharp correction as buyers began turning away from higher prices, Danske Bank Analyst Wilhelm Roe noted.
"A large part of the price drop now stems from a market with no willingness to buy at the previous high price levels," Roe told IntraFish.
