Dongwon-owned tuna giant Starkist's private label products have not escaped antitrust litigation related to the long-running price-fixing conspiracy involving Bumble Bee, Chicken of the Sea and Starkist.

On July 19, San Diego Federal Court Judge Dana Sabraw ruled "there are triable issues" for both the company's branded and private label products.

Those products include Starkist tuna sold under private label brands that include "Walmart’s Great Value, Target’s Market Pantry, and Costco’s Kirkland," the judge said.
