Norwegian salmon market sources expect a sharp drop in spot prices for salmon being delivery to buyers next week.
Although reluctant to admit it, there is general agreement that the fall will be around NOK 15 (€1.46/$1.47) across all sizes.
While prices are are not yet clear, one market source reported that the pressure is particularly strong on 3-4 kilogram fish.
In May, salmon prices reached a historic peak of around NOK 125 (€12.17/$12.24)
