Late last month, Norwegian salmon farming giants agreed to pay $85 million (€80 million) to US seafood buyers in a class action lawsuit alleging the companies conspired to fix salmon prices in the US market.

The companies -- including Mowi, Leroy Seafood and Grieg Seafood -- said the settlement was not an admission of guilt, but simply the best way to resolve a costly and protracted lawsuit.
