Mowi director moves to AI aquaculture firm Aquabyte

Andreas Mikalsen, has been appointed director of customer success and professional services at AI aquaculture tech start-up Aquabyte.

Mikalsen comes from salmon giant Mowi where he was managing director, Mowi Global RMT Supply Chain & Trading. He has also been a board member of the Norwegian Seafood Council for over 4 years.

"For me, this is about developing the interface between humans, fish, technology and sustainability," said Mikalsen. "In my view, data-driven decision support has great potential throughout the value chain from sea to table."
