Supply chain woes and soaring inflation hammered US retail seafood sales in February, sending sales volumes plummeting by double digits, according to newly released figures.

Frozen seafood dollar sales hit $575.9 million (€527.9 million) in February, a 9.4 percent drop from February 2021 levels. The volume of frozen seafood sales was down 20.6 percent, according to new data released by IRI and analyzed by Texas-based market research firm 210 Analytics.
