Norwegian salmon faming company Kvaroy Arctic announced this week it is growing its US team, welcoming new executives in its marketing and finance departments.

The company has hired Freddy Olcese as its new vice president of finance. Olcese will serve as a strategic partner to the CFO of Kvaroy Arctic and Kvaroy Fiskeoppdrett.

Freddy Olcese is now with Kvaroy Arctic.

Olcese will focus on providing key direction to the development and implementation of the short- and long-range strategic plans and direction of the US operations of the company.

He comes to Kvaroy Arctic with 15 years of experience in the seafood industry, including 11 years as the CFO of AquaChile and four years as the controller for Rain Forest Aquaculture.

Jennifer Bushman has been promoted at Kvaroy.

The company also promoted Jennifer Bushman to become its chief marketing officer from her previous role as brand officer.

Since starting with the company, she has spearheaded an annual Women in Aquaculture Scholarship as well as a Feed the Vote campaign featuring the Kvaroy Arctic salmon hot dogs.

Bushman has over 20 years of experience with aquaculture companies, including Pacifico Aquaculture, Blue Ocean Mariculture and Riverence Trout.
