Delays caused by a clampdown on sanctioned Russian cargoes are compounding problems caused by congestion in the container shipping market.

This comes as global shipping giant AP Moller-Maersk warns that delays in ports are putting Russian foodstuff and medical cargoes at risk of being spoiled.
