The South American nation's salmon firms shipped 50,689 metric tons gross weight of fish to Russia in 2021, making it their fourth-largest market.

Russia accounted for 7 percent of exports, down 17 percent from the 61,652 metric tons a year earlier, according to customs data supplied by the Chile Salmon Council.
