If you were hoping to sink your teeth into plant-based or cell-cultured seafood alternatives at the upcoming Seafood Expo North America (SENA) in Boston, you will likely be disappointed.
None of the major producers, including Good Catch, Atlantic Natural Foods, The Plant Based Seafood Co., Novish and New Wave Foods, are currently listed on the expo's exhibitors' list posted on its web site.
Atlantic Natural Foods, which manufacturers plant-based tuna under its Loma Linda brand, said Friday that it it will not be allowed to exhibit at this year's show.
