Dutch processor Visscher Seafood inked an exclusive partnership to supply Scotland-based Kames Fish Farm's steelhead trout to the northern European market, part of a strategy to serve growing demand for premium salmonid products.
Visscher Seafood has been a customer of Kames Fish Farm for a couple of years, steadily increasing volumes, and decided the time was right to solidify the relationship.
"A big part of that is the branding, which we will do in our region for them," said Visscher Seafood CEO Tim Brouwer told IntraFish.
