Massachusetts-based processor Channel Fish -- once fearing thousands in fines from the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) and the prospect of laying off employees over millions of pounds of Alaska pollock stranded in an Atlantic Canada storage facility -- is no longer in such dire straits.
