European land-based salmon startup Columbi Salmon has appointed Hanne Morkemo as head of quality and health, safety and environment (HSE).
Morkemo joins Columbi from her position as quality/HSE manager at Norway Royal Salmon (NRS), where she spent three and a half years. At NRS, she was responsible for the development of the company’s quality and HSE systems. Prior to this, Morkemo built her expertise at Marine Harvest (now Mowi), Reinertsen and Leroy Hydrotech. Morkemo holds a Master's in Aquaculture and Quality from the Norwegian University of Life Sciences.
