Private equity owners of US smoked salmon supplier on the hunt for buyers

The owners of Colorado-based salmon smoker Honey Smoked Fish Co. are in the process of selling the company.

Integris Partners has been appointed as financial advisor for the sale of McCarthy Capital-owned Honey Smoked Fish, according to a prospectus seen by IntraFish.

In early 2019, Honey Smoked Fish acquired the US operations of The MacKnight Food Group.

The prospectus touts the popularity of smoked seafood, the company's modern smoking facilities, and its experienced management team as attributes of the company that should be attractive to investors.
