Russia pollock suppliers 'even stronger' following new Marine Stewardship Council certification

Russian pollock producers have a strategy to produce more volume of high-quality fillet blocks and export less headed and gutted (H&G) raw material for further processing abroad.

There are also expectations that Russia’s Petropavlovsk Komandorsk and North Kuril fisheries will also be MSC-certified later this year, which means the majority of Russia’s pollock will then have the blue eco-label.
