Russian Aquaculture, the country's largest salmon farming company, saw improvements in its key financial results in the first quarter, amid a backdrop of acquisitions.

The group's revenue increased 12 percent year-on-year to RUB 3.9 billion (€44.6 million/$54.4 million), however adjusted earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) reached RUB 1.5 billion (€17.1 million/$20.9 million), down 7 percent from the previous year.
