Norwegian farmed salmon prices for delivery next week are expected to remain stable somewhere in the NOK 50 (€4.92/$5.96) range, although little business had been concluded as IntraFish spoke with market sources.
"We have not sold anything yet, and there are reports of large gaps between what the breeders demand and what the exporters will pay," an executive with one salmon farming company said.
The executive said fish had been sold for around NOK 56-59 (€5.51-5.81/$6.68-7.04) per kilogram this week, adding that the range is "probably about the level we will end up for next week as well."
