Dutch seafood processor and distributor Visscher Seafood is anticipating a recovery in organic salmon demand in a post-COVID era, and has ambitious plans to leverage its stake in Scottish salmon farmer Organic Sea Harvest (OSH) into new markets and higher premiums.

Organic Sea Harvest Holding (formerly Villa Seafood UK) -- owned equally by Visscher, Villa Seafood Norway and Canadian seafood group Dom International -- increased ownership of OSH in 2020, and now holds 75 percent of the group, with the founders of the salmon farming company now holding 25 percent.
