Chilean salmon producer AquaChile said it "deeply regrets" the death of a diver last week at one of its sites in Chile's Aysen region in the southern part of the country.
Andres Alejandro Teigel Coliague, an employee of subcontractor SGM Austral, was conducting maintenance work at the Gala 2 site owned by AquaChile.
SGM Austral specializes in engineering and anchoring operations authorized by the Chile's Maritime Authority.
