After nearly 10 years, the Better Seafood Board (BSB) can look back on a series of successes, as it continues to battle issues such as labeling fraud, weight or count discrepancies and transshipments that look to circumvent duties and tariffs.

The goal remains the same as it was when the group was founded, according to Trident Seafoods' Jamie Marshall, chair of the BSB for the last three years.

"We hope to focus on seafood fraud in the supply chain -- what we say is in the box is exactly what's in the box," Marshall told IntraFish.
