The surimi market in Europe is divided with western European consumption on the decline, and consumption in eastern Europe picking up due to quality improvements, Jean-Luc Beliveau, research and development (R&D) director at Alliance Ocean, said at this year’s Surimi Forum in Astoria, Oregon.
