PFU ruled that rival media firm Norsk Fiskeoppdrett AS was in breach of good press conduct for a one-sided attack on IntraFish. Norsk Fiskeoppdrett publishes Norsk Fiskeoppdrett, a printed magazine covering the aquaculture industry, as well as Kyst.no, a Web site targeting the Norwegian seafood sector. The group publishes an English language publication, FishFarmingXpert, in both print and online.
In its complaint to the PFU, IntraFish said a series of articles attacking IntraFish contained gross errors of fact, and the group failed to rectify the errors after a reply from IntraFish.
