Darian McBain, known as Thai Union's "sustainability superwoman," is a relative newcomer to seafood, but it didn't take her long to become a key player in the sector.
"The seafood industry is an amazing network of people and a lot of what goes on is through relationships and knowing different people," said McBain, Thai Union's executive advisor for corporate affairs and sustainability and a member of the 2020 IntraFish Power 100 ranking of seafood’s most influential executives.
"For someone to come into it at first it seems a bit complex and sometimes overwhelming but once you are part of it it's like being part of a very large family."
