The first hot-smoked Atlantic salmon from fish raised in a land-based facility will soon hit the US market.

US land-based seabass producer Ideal Fish will be smoking and selling the fish, which it is sourcing from Sustainable Blue, operators of a land-based, recirculating aquaculture system (RAS) farm in Centre Burlington, Nova Scotia, James MacKnight, sales and marketing director for Ideal Fish, told IntraFish.
