Norway-based processor and distributor Villa Seafood's Boston, Massachusetts, operation has reached an agreement with Iceland Seafood International (ISI) to sell products under the Iceland Gold brand in North America starting in October.
The companies said Thursday the deal expands the operations of Villa Seafood with a significant customer base and distribution network. It also adds frozen Icelandic cod and haddock to Villa Seafood's offerings. The company currently offers fresh and frozen farmed salmon from Sea Harvest in Scotland, and through salmon processor Arctic Filet in Norway.
